[NANTES 🇫🇷] Billy the Tri – The Horse that helps to raise awareness about recycling in Nantes Nord

Billy the Tri is a venerable old work horse who is used in the district of Nantes Nord to raise awareness about recycling among local children. He is owned by a local association that organises regular walk throughs of housing estates in the area of Nantes Nord, followed by groups of school children who are taught about the keeping their neighbourhoods litter-free, and the benefits of recycling. A very popular programme, socially, environmentally, and economically.

[HØJE-TAASTRUP 🇩🇰] URBiNAT Principles of User Involvement: 6 Recommendations from SLA Architects

Launched in the summer of 2018, the URBiNAT project is focused on the regeneration and integration of economically deprived social housing districts in seven pilot cities across Europe, from Porto in northern Portugal to Høje Taastrup near Copenhagen, to the historic city of Siena in Italy, and to the Bulgarian capital Sofia. Between 2018 and 2023, residents in each city will be called on to take part in the co-design, co-construction and, ultimately, the co-evaluation of locally inspired and/or adapted Nature-Based Solutions.
