[Academic Paper] Guidelines for Citizen Engagement and the Co-Creation of Nature-Based Solutions: Living Knowledge in the URBiNAT Project
Participation and citizen engagement are fundamental elements in urban regeneration and in the deployment of nature-based solutions (NBS) to advance sustainable urban development. Various limitations inherent to participatory processes concerning NBS for inclusive urban regeneration have been addressed, and lessons have been learnt.
Barcelona, 26 & 27 November 2021. URBiNAT partner IAAC (Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia) was present at this year's Poble Nou Open Night to showcase URBiNAT NBS currently under development.
On 2, 4 & 7 June URBiNAT hosted an Online Seminar Series on the role of the Solidarity Economy to enhance the impact of NBS being implemented as part of urban regeneration programmes. The complete webinar series can be viewed again here.
