We are delighted to announce that the call for abstracts is now open for the URBiNAT International Conference “Nature for Innovative and Inclusive Urban Regeneration”, to be held 16 & 17 June 2022 in Milan.
We invite our partners from the scientific community, policy makers, urban planners and practitioners, developers of nature-based solutions, social workers, environmental and social activists and artists, as well as representatives of our sister H2020-funded NBS projects and other stakeholders to apply to be a speaker at the URBiNAT International Conference 2022 with a short abstract. The event is open to all. Abstracts submission deadline is 4 March 2022.

13 October 2021. Environmental Economist Prof. Thomas Andersson (IKED, Sweden) representing the URBiNAT project took part in a high-level panel to discuss pathways from Nature-Based Solutions to the Nature-Based Economy.
Expert and Dialogue Meeting jointly hosted by URBiNAT and the Cyprus Institute (CyI), an international science and technology organisation supporting the establishment of a knowledge-based society in Cyprus and in the Eastern Mediterranean region.

[Conference 🇧🇷] URBiNAT at the IV ISA Forum of Sociology – Challenges of the 21st Century: Democracy, Environment, Inequalities, Intersectionality
CES researchers, Beatriz Caitana and Nathalie Nunes, presented two communications at the IV ISA Forum on URBiNAT's approaches in handling the complex combination and concentration of challenges and factors in inclusive urban regeneration: more than green, as an extended model for NBS in urban regeneration; and intersectional challenges in the emergence of social innovation for active citizenship.
