Porto, November 2021. “Caring for Campanhã” was the motto for the special URBiNAT event that brought together associations, projects and residents of the neighbourhood.

This day of events, which took place on 13th November 2021, was promoted by the municipality of Porto as part of the implementation of the URBiNAT project, with the participation and co-organization of local entities and citizens.

Among the activities that took place along the future Healthy Corridor were series of “Green Heritage Walks”. Young residents of the neighborhood left from Lagarteiro, walked along Rua do Lagarteiro, delving into its past and its importance over thousands of years.

Activities which were all free and open to the public included:

• Green Heritage Walk (four routes that start from different points and meet at the vegetable garden – a unique opportunity to get to know the urban heritage).
• Talk about community gardens;
• Traditional games and yoga class;
