Among the multitude of free events offered throughout the city of Nantes during the weekend of April 29 and 30, will be a walk through Nantes Nord’s Green Loup (boucle verte). The itinerary of this walk will lead though a selection of gardens, parks and urban farms:

Visitors are invited to discover “Symbiose”, the first construction of a greenhouse on the roof of an existing building. This greenhouse, which heats the building’s domestic water, is home to a market gardener who is experimenting with agriculture in exceptional conditions. The visitors will then continue with a gardening workshop offered by Bio-T-Full in the Parc de l’Amande, which has been awarded the Ecojardin label, before being welcomed by the the gardeners of the Amande allotments to visit their plots in the heart of the Amande wood. They will finish with two workshops offered by the Accoord socio-cultural centre, a tasting of infused garden herbs and the making of small bamboo instruments.
