Marco Acri graduated in History and Conservation of Architectural and Environmental Heritage at the IUAV University of Venice, specializing in Urban Management at the ERASMUS University of Rotterdam and in Heritage Governance at the University of Nova Gorica, where he is currently employed as senior lecturer at the programme in “Cultural Heritage Studies”. He also teaches Traditional Knowledge Preservation at University of Bologna. As a professional he worked as conservation architect and at various national and international bodies, such as UNESCO, WMF, IMED, Federculture, MPS GEIE, IAES, in several international projects on the preservation and management of cultural and natural heritage.
