Gonçalo Canto Moniz, URBiNAT Project Coordinator, will present the URBiNAT project during a workshop organised by the LIFE Metro Adapt Project on “Nature-Based Solutions as a means to boost urban climate change adaptation” on February 23rd at 10:15.
The workshop will be held in the framework of the The Nature Of Cities Festival, an international virtual festival spanning 5 days with programming across five regional time zones involving a huge variety of international stakeholders.
The workshop will explore way in which to create a space of dialogue among stakeholders that have the potential to become involved in the implementation of sustainable strategies to limit the impact of climate change.
In the second part of the workshop, participants will be invited to talk about their experiences and examples of climate change adaptation processes taking place in their territories, with a focus on the relevance of Nature-Based Solutions.
The aim is to share and exchange good practices’ experiences implemented in cities to enhance urban resilience to climate change.
