CONNECTING NATURE ENTERPRISE SUMMIT POZNAŃ 2021
Join us online in June for the Connecting Nature Enterprise Summit.
As countries and cities adapt to living with Covid-19 and implement recovery strategies they have been presented an opportunity to build back better and to use innovative solutions. The move to build back better has created enormous potential for nature and nature -based enterprises to be the engine for sustainable economic and jobs growth.
The Summit will explore the challenges and opportunities facing nature-based enterprises; cities, communities, policy makers and developers. Hosted on a virtual platform with panel discussions, presentations, workshops, capacity building sessions and plenty of opportunity to connect with other delegates.
Highlights from the programme include:
- Community workshops: Led by industry leaders from sustainable agriculture, forestry to green infrastructure and smart technology, meet the innovators in our nature-based enterprise communities.
- Policy Dialogue: Realising the potential of the nature-based economy. A high-level panel of policymakers debate findings and recommendations of a new White Paper on the Nature-Based Economy. We’ll identify key policy areas for action to realise the potential of nature as an engine for sustainable economic and jobs growth.
- Horizon Europe funding for NBS: a dedicated session on funding topics related to nature-based solutions in the first calls of Horizon Europe
- Capacity building sessions: a series of workshops addressing common challenges from public procurement, scaling of nature-based enterprises, IPR protection and more.
- Warsztaty w jezyku polskim (Polish language workshops): Tailored for a Polish audience but open to all, these sessions will have simultaneous translation into English
- #pitchatpoznan: Fast paced live pitches from nature- based enterprises and innovators as they pitch their products and services in 3 minutes flat!
- Networking: Like a live event, there’s lots of opportunity to network with others except this time you’ll be randomly matched! Fun, informative, jump in!
Who should attend?
Nature-based enterprises and entrepreneurs, global cities, politicians, developers, urban and environmental practitioners, funding bodies, policy and decisionmakers at a national and international level. We encourage learning and dialogue between private and social enterprises, cities, academics, community organisations, NGO’s and third sector organisations.
The summit is co-hosted by Miasto Poznan – Poznan City Hall and the Connecting Nature Enterprise Platform, an innovation of the H2020 Connecting Nature project. Registration for the Connecting Nature Enterprise Summit is open now through the platform.
