[In the News 🇧🇬] A school in the capital’s Nadezhda district with a greenhouse and a green classroom

Зелена класна стая и оранжерия ще бъдат изградени в двора на 15 СУ “Адам Мицкевич” в столичния район „Надежда“. Проектът е създаден от Университета за архитектура в Барселона, съобщават от районната администрация.

Откритата класна стая ще допринесе за прилагането на съвременни образователни подходи и за обучение в условията на физическо дистанциране, наложени от мерките срещу разпространението на COVID-19. В тази зелена класна стая ще се провеждат уроци на открито, а в оранжерията ще се отглежда растителност – дребни тревисти растения, храсти, малоразмерни дървесни видове. Учениците ще имат възможност да участват в отглеждането и да наблюдават развитието на различни видове растения.

A green classroom and a greenhouse will be built in the courtyard of 15 Adam Mickiewicz Secondary School in the Nadezhda district of the capital. The project was created by the University of Architecture in Barcelona, the district administration said.

The open classroom will contribute to the implementation of modern educational approaches and to teaching in the conditions of physical distancing imposed by the measures against the spread of COVID-19. In this green classroom, outdoor lessons will be conducted and vegetation will be grown in the greenhouse – small herbaceous plants, shrubs, small tree species. Students will have the opportunity to participate in the cultivation and observe the development of different plant species.
