ABSTRACT: NBS for inclusive urban regeneration will be co-designed, co-developed and co-implemented in a trans-disciplinary, multi-stakeholder and participatory context. NBS consider the social sciences and humanities which play an essential role for social innovation, and thus addresses complex social and sociological challenges. The expected results of URBiNAT are multiple: it raises EU leadership and creates economic opportunities in global markets (supply and demand) with new products, services, protocols and standards.
Billy the Tri is a venerable old work horse who is used in the district of Nantes Nord to raise awareness about recycling among local children. He is owned by a local association that organises regular walk throughs of housing estates in the area of Nantes Nord, followed by groups of school children who are taught about the keeping their neighbourhoods litter-free, and the benefits of recycling. A very popular programme, socially, environmentally, and economically.
