[In the News ๐Ÿ‡ฉ๐Ÿ‡ฐ] The SLA – Copenhagen Strategic Development Plan meets the Healthy Corridor

May 6, 2020

On 24 April the Copenhagen-based architecture practice SLA, renowned for the pragmatic and elegant ways in which it uses nature-based solutions (NBS) to solve some of the toughest urban problems while providing genuine quality of life for all, gave the following presentation to URBiNAT city representatives and other partners of the URBiNAT consortium.

The strategic development plan meets the Healthy Corridor

The purpose of the webinar was to provide conceptual and methodological guidance to the teams in the seven URBiNAT cities that are already hard at work on the preparation of urban plans related to the development of NBS-inspired Healthy Corridors.

SLA is one of the URBiNAT Consortium’s Horizontal Partners which includes architects, urban planners, conservationists, environmental economists, sociologists and researchers that share a common understanding regarding the potential benefits of NBS to address some of the most pressing urban environmental, social and economic problems.

We are pleased to be able to share the slides that were used for the presentation and take this opportunity to reaffirm our commitment to engage in a vibrant and broad dialogue on these issues. If you happen to be a resident of one of the URBiNAT cities, or have expertise in the use of NBS as part of urban redevelopment projects, we’d be interested to hear from you!
