Димитър Димов: В УРБИНАТ жителите на „Надежда“ станаха активни участници в новия облик на града
Кандидат за кмета столичния “Надежда” инж. Димитър Димов завършва 4-ти успешен мандат начело на родния си район. Пред Столица.bg инж. Димов представи амбициите си за пети мандат и визията си за новите и довършване на започнатите проекти в “Надежда”, които променят кварталите в района.

Въпрос (Столица.bg): Докъде стигна реализирането на уникалния проект на Зелен коридор – УРБИНАТ в „Надежда“?
В момента работим активно по осем обекта в „Зеления коридор на здравето“ – УРБИНАТ, сред които Зелен амфитеатър, две детски площадки от естествени материали, едно голямо спортно игрище за 4 вида спорт – волейбол, бадминтон, баскетбол и минифутбол, екопаркинг, открита класна стая с оранжерия в двора на 15 Средно училище „Адам Мицкевич“, фитнес площадка на открито, зона за семейни игри в жк „Свобода“, както и реконструкция на пешеходния мост при р. Суходолска в парк „Надежда“. Пешеходната връзка свързва обектите, разположени в кварталите „Толстой“, „Свобода“, „Надежда“ 2 и 4 и „Триъгълника“. Очаквам строителните дейности по проект УРБИНАТ да приключат до края на месец октомври 2023 г. Използвам възможността да благодаря на ръководителя на проект УРБИНАТ арх. Здравко Здравков и неговия екип за добрата координация и сътрудничество през годините.
Въпрос (Столица.bg): С какво УРБИНАТ ще промени район „Надежда“?
Проект УРБИНАТ даде възможност на гражданите на „Надежда“ да бъдат активни участници в промяната на града. Проведохме срещи и фокус групи с много от тях и заедно избрахме зоните за намеса. Една от най-интересните идеи, които се реализират в рамките на УРБИНАТ, е учебната оранжерия в двора на 15 СУ „Адам Мицкевич“, разработена по проект на екип архитекти от Университета по архитектура в испанския град Барселона. За нас, участието в УРБИНАТ е възможност да продължим развитието на район „Надежда“ чрез прилагането на природни решения в обновяването на градската среда.
Въпрос (Столица.bg): Във Вашия район се каптира минерален извор до 15 Средно училище, как ще се използва?
Над 75 източника на минерални води в Столична община имат потенциал да бъдат използвани за лечебно-рехабилитационни, общооздравителни, спортни и развлекателни цели. Сред тях е и минералния извор в двора на 15 СУ „Адам Мицкевич“, който беше възстановен през 2020 г. от Направление „Архитектура и градоустройство“ на Столична община. Анализът показа, че дебитът на водата е 4-5 литра в секунда, а температурата е 55 градуса. Тя е с висока минерализация и не е годна за пиене или напояване на учебната оранжерия, която изграждаме по проект УРБИНАТ. Сред възможните приложения на този минерален източник е отопление на плувен басейн при бъдеща реализация на подобен проект.
Въпрос (Столица.bg): „Надежда“ е един от най-спортните райони на Столична община – като събития, шампиони и инфраструктура, но все още нямате плувен басейн – планувате ли подобен спортен обект?
Моята мечта е да изградим басейн в район „Надежда“, за да развиваме водните спортове. Самият аз започах да плувам в клуба на „Локомотив“ София на 6 годишна възраст. Спортът ме научи на дисциплина и отговорност, затова искам децата на „Надежда“ да имат модерна и безопасна среда за плуване и физическа активност. Приветствах студентския идеен конкурс за изграждане на учебно-тренировъчен комплекс с покрит плувен басейн, обявен по проект УРБИНАТ. Експертно жури отличи трите най-добри предложения, които можем да използваме след като осигурим нужното финансиране за изграждане на басейн. Благодаря на олимпийската шампионка Стойка Кръстева, която винаги подкрепя нашите спортни инициативи. „Надежда“ е раждала големи таланти в света на спорта и се надявам, че в момента в нашите градини и училища растат следващите шампиони.
Dimitar Dimov: In URBiNAT the residents of “Nadezhda” became active participants in the new look of the city
Candidate for mayor for the capital “Nadezhda”, Eng. Dimitar Dimov is completing his 4th successful term at the head of his native region. Before Stolica.bg, engineer Dimov presented his ambitions for the 5th term and his vision for the new and completion of the started projects in “Nadezhda”, which are changing the neighborhoods in the area.

Question (Stolica.bg): How far has the implementation of the unique project of the Green Corridor – URBINAT in “Nadezhda” reached?
We are currently actively working on eight sites in the “Green Corridor of Health” – URBINAT, including a Green Amphitheater, two children’s playgrounds made of natural materials, a large sports field for 4 types of sports – volleyball, badminton, basketball and mini-football, eco-parking, outdoor a classroom with a greenhouse in the courtyard of 15 “Adam Mickiewicz” Secondary School, an outdoor fitness area, a family games area in the “Svoboda” housing complex, as well as reconstruction of the pedestrian bridge at the Suhodolska River in “Nadezhda” park. The pedestrian connection connects the objects located in the districts “Tolstoy”, “Svoboda”, “Nadezhda” 2 and 4 and “Triangle”. I expect the construction activities under the URBINAT project to be completed by the end of October 2023. I use the opportunity to thank the head of the URBINAT project, Arch. Zdravko Zdravkov and his team for the good coordination and cooperation over the years.
Question (Stolica.bg): How will URBINAT change the “Nadezhda” district?
The URBINAT project gave the citizens of Nadezhda the opportunity to be active participants in the change of the city. We held meetings and focus groups with many of them and together we selected the areas for intervention. One of the most interesting ideas realized within the framework of URBINAT is the educational greenhouse in the courtyard of 15 SU “Adam Mickiewicz”, developed according to a project by a team of architects from the University of Architecture in the Spanish city of Barcelona. For us, participation in URBINAT is an opportunity to continue the development of the Nadezhda region by applying natural solutions in the renewal of the urban environment.
Question (Stolica.bg): In your area, a mineral spring is captured up to 15 Secondary schools, how will it be used?
More than 75 sources of mineral waters in the Metropolitan Municipality have the potential to be used for medical and rehabilitation, general health, sports and entertainment purposes. Among them is the mineral spring in the courtyard of 15 SU “Adam Mickiewicz”, which was restored in 2020 by the “Architecture and Town Planning” Department of the Metropolitan Municipality. The analysis showed that the water flow was 4-5 liters per second and the temperature was 55 degrees. It has high mineralization and is not suitable for drinking or irrigating the educational greenhouse that we are building under the URBINAT project. Among the possible applications of this mineral source is the heating of a swimming pool in the future realization of a similar project.
Question (Stolica.bg): Nadezhda is one of the most sporting areas of the Metropolitan Municipality – such as events, champions and infrastructure, but you still don’t have a swimming pool – are you planning a similar sports facility?
My dream is to build a pool in the Nadezhda area to develop water sports. I myself started swimming in the Lokomotiv Sofia club at the age of 6. Sports taught me discipline and responsibility, so I want the children of Nadezhda to have a modern and safe environment for swimming and physical activity. I welcomed the student concept competition for the construction of an educational and training complex with a covered swimming pool, announced under the URBINAT project. An expert jury distinguished the three best proposals that we can use after securing the necessary financing to build a pool. Thanks to Olympic champion Stoika Krasteva, who always supports our sports initiatives. “Hope” has produced great talents in the world of sports and I hope that the next champions are currently growing in our gardens and schools.
