URBiNAT is one of the 351 research listed projects.
351 research projects (EU contribution of around € 1.4 billion), dealing with environment and health issues, have been funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 programme (347 projects) – the Research and Innovation Framework from 2014 to 2020 – and Euratom (4 projects). Many of the projects are ongoing and will provide scientific support to evolving policies and actions related to environment and health area, such as the European Green Deal and its components such as the EU Chemical Strategy for Sustainability and the Zero pollution action plan for water, air and soil. For finished projects, links are provided to results. Several large-scale initiatives have been supported: the European Human Biomonitoring Initiative HBM4EU, the European Cluster to Improve the Identification of Endocrine Disruptors (EURION), the largest environment and health initiative in the world, the European Human Exposome Network (EHEN), the European Research Cluster to Understand the Health Impacts of Micro- and Nanoplastics (CUSP) and the Urban Health Cluster. This overview should be useful to many stakeholders including the scientific community and regulatory authorities.
