On Friday 25th September, URBiNAT partners in Frontrunner city Nantes organized a walkthrough on the green loop with professionnals and stakeholders. The green loop is a walkway that winds through the Healthy Corridor that will host the NBS chosen by local inhabitants. Colleagues from Nantes’ Public Health department, from department of Sport and Youth, and other organizations such as the Association for the Fight Against Cancer gathered together for a trial run of the walking loop and imagine the future uses within their professional missions. The aim was also to promote the project to help mobilize their target audiences for upcoming workshops with the inhabitants on October 14th. The walkthrough resulted in several ideas such as the creation of an outdoor non-smoking area on the loop to host prevention events against smoking, the organization of walks for psychological wellness, and sign posts with physical activity movements along the way to foster promote outdoor physical activities…
